POTENTIAL BENEFIT OF HSR AND ECRL TO PEOPLE LIVING NEARBY

High Speed Rail is a type of rail transport that operates significantly faster than traditional rail traffic, using integrated system of specialized rolling stock and dedicated tracks. The high speed rail is very famous in Japan. The first such system began operations in Japan in 1 October 1964 and known as bullet train (Tokaido Shinkansen). In Malaysia, the latest project in connectivity are the High Speed Rail (HSR) and East Coast Rail Line (ECRL). High Speed Rail, the rail of Malaysia, will run from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore, covering seven stations. The seven stations are Bandar Malaysia, Putrajaya, Seremban, Ayer Keroh, Muar, Batu Pahat and Iskandar Puteri. The East Coast (ECRL) project is proposed railway line connecting Kuala Lumpur to the states of the East Coast Economic Region which is Pahang, Terengganu and Kelantan. What is the potential benefit of HSR and ECRL to people living nearby?

First, the potential benefit of HSR and ECRL to people nearby is saves money. It saves money because we don't need to pay for car petrol,  car maintenance. The ticket of HSR or ECRL might not be as expensive as the cost that you have to pay for fuel or car maintenance. Even if you have your own car, driving it less means that you're not having to fill up or take it in for service as often you would do otherwise.

Second, the potential benefit of HSR and ECRL to people nearby is reduce stress than driving your own car. Traffic congestion causes build up of anger and give sense of frustration because few things can be done at the same time as driving. It reduce the stress because driving your own vehicle make you tired. By using HSR and ECRL,you can avoid traffic jam that causes you to be stress about.

Third, the potential benefit of HSR and ECRL to people nearby are potential leading to better health and increased overall wellness. To get the most out of this benefits, use your time in HSR and ECRL to read, meditate, knit, play games or do activities that make you happy. Such activities will keep your brain active, relax and let you use your commute time to recharge your batteries.

The others potential benefit of HSR and ECRL is skill transfer. Singapore do not have experience with high-speed rail technology, this will give an opportunity to build expertise. The impact will come when the line starts running. It’s also will create job opportunities to people nearby, as people would be needed to run and maintain the rail systems.

That's all from me. Thank You..
